Blessed are those
who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Matthew

Confession of Sin
Our Father, we hear
Your call to yearn for what is right. But, sadly, there are times when our
hunger for other things overwhelms any yearning to see Your righteousness
prevail. In this we falter in our love for You. In this we sin. We are truly
sorry for how we have grieved You. We ask that You would, again, forgive us our
sin. We ask that You would strengthen our love for You so that we might pursue
what is right more faithfully. We are bold to ask these things only because of
Jesus. Amen.
Declaration of Pardon
Jesus said: For this
is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in
him will have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
May the Father
forgive us by the death of his Son and strengthen us to live in the power of
the Spirit all our days.
