Reading of the Law
of God
Let no corrupting
talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits
the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4. 29
Confession of Sin
Our Father, we admit
that we have failed with our words. By our words we tear down instead of
encourage. By our words we express annoyance instead of patience. By our words
we show that we consider our desires more important than the needs of others.
We ask that You would forgive these sins of our mouths. Make us more aware of
what we say to each other. Change our hearts so that our words would give grace
to those around us. We ask these things for Jesus’ sake. Amen.
Declaration of
Pardon
Therefore, since we
have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
Christ. Romans 5.1
Almighty God, who in
Jesus Christ has given us a kingdom that cannot be destroyed, forgive us our
sins, open our eyes to God's truth, strengthen us to do God's will and give us
the joy of his kingdom, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Prayer
