Confession of Sin
Our Father, Your Law
reminds us of the times when we have been anything but patient with others. We
remember the times when we were irritated with them and complained to ourselves
and sometimes to others about them. We stand convicted by Your Law. We are so
grateful that Your love for us is a patient love. We humbly ask that You would
once again forgive us our sin. We are so bold to ask again for this forgiveness
only because of Jesus, our faithful Savior. Amen.
Declaration of
Pardon
All we like sheep
have gone astray; we have turned--every one--to his own way; and the LORD has
laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53.6
May the Father of
all mercies cleanse us from our sins, and restore us in his image to the praise
and glory of his name, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
