Morning Prayers

This is one of the prayers that I use in my morning prayers. 

Father, 

Sheila and I ask for Your blessing 

    so that we will fulfill Your will for our lives 

    and thus honor You 

    before the Church and before the world. 

Guide us as we make decisions. 

Grant us the ability to deal well with bumps in the road 

    as we encounter them. 

Do Your powerful work in us 

     so that we will be a blessing to 

        our children, 

        our grandchildren, 

        our great-grandchildren and 

        our friends. 

And help us to grow old in such a way that we will provide a godly example to others. Amen.
