There are some
things in the first four verses that we need to take note of.
First,
there is a yearning for God. This yearning touches both the psalmist's soul and
body.
Then,
there is his solution to this yearning. He enters into God's sanctuary. And
there, as he worships, he is reminded of the power and glory of his God.
And
last, in verses three and four, we see that the psalmist's yearning is
relieved, at least to an extent. He once again has seen evidence of God's
covenant love. And it is because of that that he will praise his God.
