Reading of the Law of God
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6.19-20
Confession of Sin
Our Father, we assume that our bodies are our own, to care for or not as we please. But Your Word is clear. They are not ours but Yours. Forgive us for not caring for what is Yours. Give us the desire and ability to do better at this. We ask this through Jesus, our faithful Savior. Amen.
Declaration of Pardon
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. Proverbs 28.13
May God our Father forgive us our sins, and bring us to the fellowship of his table with his saints for ever.
