I get to be in heaven. And this morning I thought about another reason why that will be so good. I will no longer be troubled by my sin. And while that means that I won't do stupid things anymore, it means more than that because sin is about more than the things we do. When I get to heaven I will no longer be seduced and plagued by the idols of my heart. They will be exposed as the frauds that they are. I will be free from their schemes and distractions. They will be gone. And as a result of that, I will be able to feel, in a way that I have yet to feel, the love of God for me.
