For Sunday

Reading of the Law of God
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5.15-17

Confession of Sin
Our Father, all too often we do not use our time wisely. It is so easy for us to try to squeeze too much into too little time or to fritter it away. We so often find ourselves either driven or lazy. And we rarely find the time just to stop and think about You. Forgive us for this foolish use of a precious gift. Renew our minds so that we would know how to make best use of the time You give to us. We ask this in Jesus’ name and for His sake. Amen.

Declaration of Pardon
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.  Isaiah 55.6-7
