This is one of the prayers that I use in my morning prayers.
Almighty God,
In keeping with Your great wisdom, we have an enemy. He hates us because he hates You. He does everything that he can to undo us. He is powerful and crafty.
On our own we are no match for him. But armed with your grace, we can defeat him.
So, Father, we come to You. Protect us from his schemes. Give to us a growing awareness of his evil plots. And use us to warn others of his malignancy.
We ask this so that we and other saints will live in a way that You will use to crush him beneath our feet. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
