There is much good to enjoy in this life. However, the life to come is unimaginably better. There will be no sin to trip is up. Jesus will be there in all his glory. There will be time to become real people doing wonderful things and doing that happily. It is good and right to desire being there instead of here. And yet, I am called to be here for the time being. So, while here I should not only submit to God’s calling but also enjoy whatever good things that I am able to enjoy, and to enjoy them as gifts of God.
