Better than the American Dream

I find that I’ve really taken to the quote for this past Sunday that I posted the other day. As I’ve thought about why that is what comes to mind is how life as an adventure of grace is so much better than the American Dream. In comparison, that seems so predictable, so limiting, so boring. But the adventure of grace makes life – well, it makes it an adventure. You just never know what’s going to happen next. And there’s no controlling it. The Spirit is in control. But since it’s an adventure of grace, there’s nothing to fear. The result will be really good and it will be glorious. The Spirit is in control. So, all in all, this is just another reason to pass by the American Dream. Life can be so much better than that.
